Great christmas video

Love you Gene,

Don't bother listening to HOTSHOTER's review, he's too stupid to realize that it takes time to make any decent animation and that it's difficult to keep up enough motivation to make the video longer.
In my opinion, "Short and Sweet" is good. Too long and it drags out.

What's ironic about HOT's review is that he says not to waste his time with a short video, but to make it longer...Hmm, yes, I can smell the idiocy.

It wasn't bad but

It wasn't too great either. I thought it was quite smooth in most parts, but it ended all too quickly and kind of skipped to completely different scenarios.
For your next, try creating a plot of some sort and keep the things that happen consistent with what the character's goals are.

Come on

The Game is stupid and people talking about how they lost it is irritating.
This could've just as easily been made in Windows Movie Maker, because the only things that could be constituted as animation were the credits and the buttons. Basically only the buttons, because WMM has credit scrolling options.

Sorry, but I don't think this should've passed judgement. It is neither video nor game and the information that makes it "informative" was copy/pasted from wikipedia. There was no originality and I don't get where your creativity came into play, because it was just text.

Sure it's your first "video," but there's absolutely no effort in it. I don't get how this took you 3 days when it can be done in at most 3 hours.
Best I'll give you is 2/10 for the buttons and audio.

Not bad

It could use work in areas, but I liked it. The one thing was at the different options he tried, I didn't even notice at first that the camera was skipping to each scene. All of a sudden the background just moved a bit and i was like "...what just happened?" and it threw me off focus. If you try that again make sure to make the scenes last a little bit longer so the viewer can catch on.
But otherwise good job :)

Timsplosion responds:

Well, I was going for that "quickly-cutting-between-similar-shot s" look. I thought that if it was just one solid background throughout that bit, it'd look even wierder, and harder to understand.
But yeh, thanks. :)

Lol great job

I really liked it :D I actually laughed when he was shooting, realized he was aiming the wrong way, then turned the gun and kept shooting

Oh god

I remember reading this book... AND watching the movie. Your animation sums it all pretty pretty nicely... cept for the last bit :P

Lol, nice

I like the idea and the animation was pretty good. I hope your next one will be full people and not just sticks, but it was pretty well played out in my opinion :P Oh and maybe get voices for next time too?

PegasuTV responds:

yeah, ill try to use the mic next time:D

lol

I knew what was coming as soon as I heard "Flag captured" :D

yoshiblue1733 responds:

That's exactly what another classmate of mine said when I showed them this particular clip xP.
Would there be anything you would change to make it more appealing?

Thanks for the response!

It's pretty good

It also reminds me of a kid's TV show, but I can't think of it right now

Lol

That was very entertaining to watch and it was a good ending :P
Must've taken a long time to do all those pictures
