Nice, I liked that

it was entertaining, that's for sure, I wish it would've continued though. And on a side note, you should set the audio from 'event' to 'stream' so it doesn't loop over.

TreasurePlanet responds:

ah
thanks for the audio tip : )
cheers

It was nice

I had to chuckle just at the one bit where he was like "But i AM your friend"
then the guy leaves and he's like "SCREW YOU, i never liked you anyways"
It just seemed so quick and humorous :P

But aside from that, the angles were really nice, I liked them. Even though your drawing could use some work and I liked the story behind it

PIED3 responds:

Ha, yeah gotta have a bit of comedy :P Glad you liked it!

I like the humour

And your voice is nice :P I'll bookmark your page, maybe you'll be able to do a part for me soon?

NicBuhrmanProjects responds:

I'll absolutely check it out!

S'okay

I just wasn't that amused by the humour and the face that I read nahtanojmal's review about the heart looking like a butt ruined it for me :( Also what he meant by the fade is how when you fade everything, you can see each separate layer that you've animated. What he's suggesting is that you create a layer of either solid black or solid white that covers the entire stage, then use that as the fader so everything fades at the same time without showing the individual layers.

blank0000 responds:

huh, that sounds like it would work. Thanks for clearing that up., and for reviewing

I feel kittens are cute, but puppies are cuter

Well, I think it's pretty awesome, but doesn't loop as well as the last one. I can tell once it's restarting, but it's great nonetheless :)

I disagree with anyone who's saying this is a simple animation. Just because it looks simple doesn't mean it is. I mean, you try doing a frame by frame animation of a character that loops and syncs to the music this nicely. It's damn difficult.

TheBoogley responds:

yeah, I thought the loop was a little bit more obvious this time around, but it takes longer to get to the loop too, this track is just about exactly twice as long. Thanks mate, I think the reason some people think this is simple is related to other aspects of a normal animated film which aren't usually completed by the animator, background art, storyline, dialogue, that sort of stuff.

It's beautiful to watch

Even more than once, I don't get tired of watching this video. I love the additions of humour and how each person tries to attain their goal. Another thing I enjoyed was the incorporation of both photographs and drawn animation. This video will definitely stay as one of my favourite of my favourites :)

Skaijo responds:

Your compliments will certainly not be taken for granted. Thank you!

Not bad

It could use work in areas, but I liked it. The one thing was at the different options he tried, I didn't even notice at first that the camera was skipping to each scene. All of a sudden the background just moved a bit and i was like "...what just happened?" and it threw me off focus. If you try that again make sure to make the scenes last a little bit longer so the viewer can catch on.
But otherwise good job :)

Timsplosion responds:

Well, I was going for that "quickly-cutting-between-similar-shot s" look. I thought that if it was just one solid background throughout that bit, it'd look even wierder, and harder to understand.
But yeh, thanks. :)

Lol, nice

I like the idea and the animation was pretty good. I hope your next one will be full people and not just sticks, but it was pretty well played out in my opinion :P Oh and maybe get voices for next time too?

PegasuTV responds:

yeah, ill try to use the mic next time:D

lol

I knew what was coming as soon as I heard "Flag captured" :D

yoshiblue1733 responds:

That's exactly what another classmate of mine said when I showed them this particular clip xP.
Would there be anything you would change to make it more appealing?

Thanks for the response!

Well...

It sounded like some messed up kids show up until they cut him open which the yelling sounded horrible for, I mean, imagine if you were being cut open, would you be slowly questioning their reasoning AFTER you were cut open then quietly yelling? (I know that last bit sounds contradicting, but I hoped I got my point across). At least your mic quality was good and the idea was good, but just poorly played out. Also, please work on more detail in not only your characters, but the background as well, there wasn't much to look at.
It wasn't that bad for a first flash though, just figure out how to make a preloader too.
Hope this review was helpful for you.

Unicornbeaver responds:

Wow, thanks for all the pointers, I'll try to make my next one better
